Our Mission
The Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry recognizes and adheres to the recommendations and guidelines set by our parent organization, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The following goals are set forth to elevate and support the practicing pediatric dentists in the state of Indiana.
- We support a high and ethical standard of all phases of dentistry for children, adolescents and the disabled to achieve excellence in practice, education and research.
- We provide continuing education of the health professions and the public concerning recognized scientific advancements in the dental and general health of children.
- We act in an advisory capacity to national, state, and local dental organizations in matters pertaining to pediatric dentistry.
- We act as a spokesperson for Indiana pediatric dentists in legislative matters, third-party and publicly funded programs, publicity and public relations matters and in matters pertaining to the oral rehabilitation of disabled children.
